The founder and executive director of the Ventura Film Festival was privileged to participate, along with many of Hollywood's top stars, in the 50th Anniversary tribute of West Side Story and Hollywood's footprint/handprint ceremony for Academy Award recipients Rita Moreno, George Chakiris, together with Golden Globe champion Russ Tamblyn at the iconic Chinese Theater in Hollywood. This ceremony also acted as the official BluRay debut by Fox and MGM of the iconic West Side Story, which is widely considered by critics and fans to be the best musical of all time.
